Commissioning worked without instructions. The workmanship is good and the style is indicative of a new product from AKG.
The operation is very simple:
The charging unit (transmitter) is angeschlosssen with the supplied adapter cable to the audio source. For devices with low output level (MP3 player etc.), a small switch is set to 0 dB position. In addition, the charger must be connected to the power supply.
On Headphones come right only the ON / OFF switch and charging contacts and links the +/- volume control.
The transmission is completely trouble-free (no noise or hiss like analog radio headphones). The range depends on the number of walls. At 2 walls but optimum operation is still possible. Without Walls is closing after 30 meters.
The K 915 simply switches off if no signal comes awhile. So there is either euphony or "nothingness".
Euphony is the right word, because this new Kopfkörer has a very balanced and beautiful sound. Delicate, accented highs and good bass framing a usable spectrum to be fun at normal volume in both the TV and the hi-operation.
Long listening sessions make no problem. It expresses nothing.
However, the only drawback is the charger. When to reset the headset after prolonged use in the charging cradle, it is pressed through the pad and the feigned bending radius of the bracket from the charger and do not recharge. It's associated with fumbling and wait until the headset to bring on the charger to activate the CHARGE mode.
Alternatively, you can leave the headphones are for a while, until he again has its original shape or one puts him just right in the charging cradle and clamps the left earpiece from outside to the charging cradle. Although this works, but certainly not as intended by the manufacturer.
The headphones are really good and (almost) in practice. I'll keep him because he's so much fun in the operation, the can not spoil me the thing with the charger.
There are of me a buy recommendation, but a point deduction.
