After lengthy research I came across the Severin freezer. Reviews in i-net promised a Engergieverbrauch below the consumption indicated by the manufacturer, the reviews here were also very positive.
So ordered, paid for and bought. The delivery company contacted me regarding a delivery date that is prior to the specified date ... very nice! In addition, I should be contacted 1 hour before delivery, which is also done. The delivery was prompt and then two gentlemen have the freezer even carried me to the basement ... very laudable. So no delivery to "curb".
Unpacking went very quickly, the usual cardboard-packaging with styrofoam and plastic ties was quickly removed. Drawn up and waited half an hour until the device could be connected. Provided power to MAX and repackaged the frozen parts of our Cooler / freezer combination. Now is enough space in this. Then put the power of Serverins to normal.
The device is working properly, the frozen food was 1: 1 still frozen.
For volume, I can only say ... the unit is quiet. Although I can not confirm the long-term test, as the appliance is in the basement, but I listened to it once in operation this. There have been no disturbing noises that would strike me as a place of installation in the house. Perhaps only if you would sleep in the same room.
All in all, so far a good buy, I do not regret now -after 2 weekly. Especially the price / performance ratio. I'm curious then only on the annual accounts of our current provider. But I need my hope to worry ;-)
Oh yes, the device must be manually defrosted ... but in this price segment is an automatic defrost function is not expected. So off to outsource frozen again, make pots of hot water ready and put it back. Although expensive, but to get over at this price anyway. Who has no corresponding swap option whose termperature should store the frozen food during defrosting in a covered plastic bucket with ice packs or wait for winter,
