Unfortunately, this high-altitude flight is over already after 54 minutes, but thanks to the repeat function I suppose once again on a journey into the Tocotronicland to me of times serious, rather quiet lyrics a la "Defenseless" and times of powerful, easy anarchic lyrics like "Say anything from "enchanted permit.
That's no joke! This album has an endurance guarantee!
I can recommend with a clear conscience that each prospective this album, just those who have remained loyal even after its predecessor, this volume. But newcomers could so have fun with this record. For singing is a hold: he has definitely improved, now sounds less wrong as on the first album, but still exudes a similar charm. The spontaneity of the very first plates thereby lost something, but not contrived acts of singing far. Also the sound is now heard different. It will come back more guitars to use, with greater differences in pitch and longer guitar solos, which makes this album more vivid. Even the drums can be heard now more clearly, which I personally like very much. Lyrically this is less hermetically, kinky, or cryptic, as was the case on the predecessor, which indeed has many not at all like. This time it has managed by Lowtzow to make the texts more accessible, but not to lose poetry.
Finally, it must be noted that the guys from Tocotronic have worked perfectly and continue on my list are the very top. This work forms a shiny counterpart to pop music a la stupidly Mark Madlock. Those looking for ambitious rock music, will find it here.
