I'm not really a big fan of Hack'n'Slay, but just as it did in D2 (LOD) the story fascinated me. Therefore, my anticipation was particularly large. I've been looking forward especially to the side quests of sorceress, villain, Templars and jeweler, was extremely excited and had them all through in five to ten minutes. That was disappointing. This culminated also in the fact that the stories abschlossen all equipped with semi open-ended. It takes storylines for D4 or a second add-on? Hopefully not.
The story about Malthael is quite nice and fun to play. But the act seems to me very short. Perhaps it was also due to the Kurzweiligkeit, anyway, I had wished for more. And here I do not like the ending. This could have been solved more elegant. To avoid spoilers, I'm going no further on the matter.
The adventure system is also quite nice for Itemcollector. Bring the game but not decisively more depth.
If I could, I would give 3.5 stars. The game, the accompanying patch has succeeded and the productions are gigantic. But weaknesses in the story and the brevity ensure deductions that it just enough, given the 40 Euro only for 3 stars. Had it tasted half, we could have even talking about 5 star.
