Good album, lousy sound!

Musically, I like the new album of Krefeld really good, after repeated run most tracks burn with me. Most of the songs are quite complex and are full (places) with ideas and bombast. The Blind Guardians I in the 90ties so liked the band has become quite little on his hat. The trend is to complex & Progressiven- and away from fast speed numbers.

What I do not understand is the sound of already here div. Male was approached. It's hard to describe but once it sounds dull and washed out another time then the drums come only poorly. I'm really not a sound fanatic attention to detail, but something had been classified Probably in the 80 as "a budget owed production". Too bad because "Beyond the red mirror" is a great album, one star I prefer the sound off.
