A few days ago I came then finally into the live enjoyment and could also convince them of their stage performances and I promise too much when I say that they are live much much better. Even after the concert you can go on trial course and meets so completely normal, slightly freaked, Norwegian women who are just plain likable and great. I am absolutely thrilled with my hangover has now found a very loyal fan who waits expectantly on other albums, and DVDs.
But a few words to the CD. How Katzenjammer announces fit the CD sounds like "to Montmartre in Paris, according to Russian circus, gypsy fairs and darkly smoky whiskey bars in Oslo" and it does indeed. Partial come sounds reminiscent of Amélie, partly come songs reminiscent of a riding school and much popcorn :-) Then come (albeit few) and slow songs which invite you to sway. Everything but not a bland folk music or mainstream flavor. One can expect something new and you get it also, because if one does not want to be a hangover (as I have heard in an interview), then easily-to-calculating-mainstream.
I wish this group, recognition and Resonsanz they deserve necessarily, because they know their job really.
