Immersion (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I'm doing here is a exactly recession immersion:

1. Genesis: in principle as 'Prelude' in Hold your Colour therefore only an intro for the album so I rate it not even.

2. Salt in The Wounds (5/5): A very groovy drum and bass track has faster it right in itself.

3. Watercolour (4/5): a drum and bass track of very heavy pop acts (through lyrics and the weak bass) but very nice

4. Set Me on Fire (5/5): Beautiful Dubstep Track has only relatively fast starts and then goes into a permanent dubstep beat and a certain 'chillout' atmosphere.

5. Crush (3/5): a strong mix of rock, drum and bass, and of course the corresponding lyrics. Unfortunately, in my opinion, come to the bass / synth here much too short

6. Under the Waves (5/5): Quiet drum and bass track with some lyrics. I find trozdem very good.

7. Immunize feat. Liam Howett (5/5): drum and bass track with strong Big Beat influences of Liam Howett. The lyrics might think it would be Keith Flint, but Rob Swire ;-)

8. The Iceland Dawn (3/5): Quite a Peaceful and also, surprisingly, a house track by Pendulum. I think that song but is infinitely elongated.

9. The Iceland Dusk (2/5): Track with strong electro house and dubstep influences eigetlich very well done but again strongly protracted I think. Sometimes it sounds as if the track is elongated like a chewing gum.

10. Comprachicos (4/5): Very well done mix of rock and DnB. However, I think that it is a guitar solo too much in the track and the track is ansich unfortunately much too short. A version with less Dj Lyrics would be happy.

11. The Vulture (5/5): Great breakbeat track with lyrics by MC Verse in my opinion a very appropriate rock Part thereby. Reminiscent of the speed or the BPM strongly 'Fasten your Seatbelts' from their debut album 'Hold your Coulour'

12. Witchcraft (3/5): Similar to Crush Rocking very well Poplastiger track with DnB Beat.

13. Self vs. Self feat. In Flames (1/5): Interresantes experiment with In Flames which unfortunately went off backwards .A collaboration with In Flames is in itself not a bad idea, however, are from DnB in this song only timidly the drumbeat left gebliebem and some Lyrics by Rob Swire. If I want to hear Melodic Death Metal I buy rather a In Flames album.

14. The Fountain feat. Steven Wilson (2/5): Similar to 'Girl in the Fire' from 'Hold your Colour' Chilliger Liquid DnB track, but here are the lyrics / vocals very inappropriate and the bass is too short while 'Girl in the Fire' perfect is see ---> 'Hold your Colour'

15. Encoder (2/5): Electro Rock track comparable to 'The Tempest', however from in silico pretty lame.

The album exceeded my expectations not fully met.
Disappointing was mainly that they 'Ransom' had been deleted from the album because it 'would not fit the album' supposedly great pity.
The track would have fit in my opinion ideally located between 'Comprachicos' and 'The Vulture'.
Inappropriately was' Self vs Self feat. In Flames'.

Conclusion: You can see the album just behind the WMG (Warner Music Group) behind it, in principle, is something for everyone old fans do not go far better to 'Hold your Colour'. Nevertheless, I recommend to buy it.
