With the abundant dissonant, clownish 40-second sample whazz GADDIT conduct Grobschnitt - typical of them - the 12 minute SYMPHONY a, a snappy and overflowing joy of playing blues rock number that is absolutely behind the best pieces equal more famous bands of that time such as Birth Control nothing to hide. The other pieces - THE Reiselied, WONDERFUL MUSIC, Suntrip and the bonus tracks ABOUT MY TOWN AND FALL STONE convince by an enormous band Power, virtuoso drums and guitars, the characteristic of Grobschnitt something bassjauligen singing and in between SILLY fun deposits as Eroc voting distorted short episode from the Mount of Olives ( "... but the faithful waited ... slowly they got cold feet, and the bread was all ..."). The 2nd CD comes up with four other pieces, the D-SONG (studio and live), the TEELIED and with the machine. However, Cream Pies is a live version of the symphony, which prepares more than 30min and a really successful epic percussion solo pleasure. Overall, some arise over 100min absolute virtuoso, dynamic playfulness with a high fun factor.
The sound is not brilliant, but recordings from 1970, which were actually so never intended for publication, very well, and at no point creating a disruptive 'demo Feeling'.
All in all, for me besides the regular live classic Solar Music z.Zt. the most beautiful Grobschnitt album. Of the slightly strange titles and the most negligible texts should not be put off - here were virtuosos at full speed! A clear recommendation for all Krautrock fans!
