I have long wondered if I upgrade my PENTAX-range and take a new K3 coming from K7, or if I jump up to the full-size train. After all, one has landed in Canon or Nikon and Sony with little extra cash already in the camp of the full format. Now it's become the K3. And for good reason. Here at last is true, the price of good lenses and and the K3 can technically fully and entirely convincing. If one comes from the K7, which still belonged to the best APSC-SLR cameras four years ago, the K3 is a hell of development. A very good autofocus, even under poor lighting conditions. An uncanny speed and a very good operating concept. The weather resistance, I can not take advantage of only a few lenses, but that may change indeed. The K3 is handy and feels very good. Autofocus is secure and with my Tamron 70-200, F2.8 it is able to shoot incredibly sharp images. Fantastic! In addition a high-ISO capability that I had not expected. Certainly not quite compare with a full frame camera, but I really do not know where I would need this. After all, the K3 is here fully sufficient for all situations. I am excited about this camera and can recommend it only. Too bad that PENTAX is so rarely offered at the photo retailers around the corner. A very good brand. That PENTAX his money is not plugged in advertising but in the development. here at the K3, it seems to be true.
