Birth of the Cool [Vinyl] [Vinyl] (Vinyl)

Customer Review

About this album to lose many words, I think rather unnecessary. People who buy this disc, knows that he is purchasing a milestone of jazz.

For those who einsteigt new, you can make in advance by arrival / or Preview an image by Amazon one seeks the CD with the same title here. As all pieces for each 1 minute are stored.

However, the vinyl lovers arises primarily the question is worth this additional price compared to the CD?
I say yes.

Was highest quality vinyl in 180g quality, which seems as if one had purchased an old original that decades welded somewhere in an attic :) -
- Very excellent pressure and mixed sensational! Remastering runs not always happy here already! Neither singing nor music stand uncomfortably in the foreground and the instruments are wonderful places to
- Compared to the CD (audible) better sound
- High-quality hard-cover
- On the protective film is a label that points to a limited version; this can be as a collector in advance for some caution, replace and store well if necessary
- Thanks to "Amazon Car Rip" you can also enjoy the music when you're on the go, without having to digitize the disc consuming
- The vinyl is housed in a high-quality inner shell

Another note on the side: when setting up the needle, do not be surprised - it takes almost 10 seconds until the music starts. Maybe someone wanted to, that you can still have time to sit in silence on the sofa until the music fun can begin ;-)

Conclusion: old and new fans of Miles Davis, who go into the world of vinyl (back) to a soft spot for jazz have but are not willing to pay sometimes exorbitant prices for the old original version, can not get past this screen.

Good value for money, but ... 1 Rank: 3/5
