Finally available on CD this Belafonte LP from the early 60s. Technically sound you can make recordings from this period is not much wrong with the RCA. There are also included some beautiful songs, in turn, other - if, for example, no Japanese understands - only moderately interesting, I think. But I am a great admirer Belafonte and glad that this LP was re-released. Even better, it would have been, finally bring out the LPs "Swing Dat Hammer" or "Belafonte on campus" back - they are still much better! Why only 3 stars? Because it feels like you are transported back to the CD-stone age. So a loveless presentation I have not seen since the 80's. A thin depositors, poor print, nothing else! In particular, the time he wrote his own Belafonte liner notes are missing. As long as ever even sold CDs, someone takes time hopefully the 60s LPs of Belafonte and make of it a beautiful box. Or you can skip the CD and making equal a nice 100% -analog box of it.
