Lady Gaga released with "Applause" a fast-paced pop song which, although at first glance comes along without much depth and severity, but is danceable and catchy and will thus meet the tastes of the masses. Andy Warhol's POPART has impressively shown how the popular culture is processed artistically. Now it is time that Gaga demonstrated in her upcoming album "artpop" as pop music is influenced and shaped by art.
