I was curious about the debut release by siblings Perry: The single "If I Die Young" was a quieter and besinlicher song with thoughtful lyrics and a very beautiful, expressive voice of Kimberley Perry. This was promising. Unfortunately, I'm not quite as impressed by the debut album The Band Perry: The album seems sometimes overproduced. The acoustic, coined by country and folk music is often "refined" with a sauce made of electric guitars. This is warschenlich to make the album for a broad, young audience to digest. That's too bad, because the Perrys are no retort band that would rely on such help. Kimberley Perry has a distinctive voice, has co-written some songs that siblings play various instruments. The album is still quite worth hearing. If the producer would have been more cautious and the songs would have left in their acoustic, folk and country "raw state", a really beautiful album instead Crossover Country Pop would have arisen. The Band Perry prove after all that they have potential and I'm curious whether their music in the future will be more mature and adult. Then could have a lot of fun with siblings Perry Country fans!
