Jennifer Rush (Audio CD)

Customer Review

It was a minor sensation when Jennifer 1992 "Never say never" returned to the charts. Fresh and carefree as she had never been away, the next comeback album then also equal again effortlessly all other of their albums in the shadows. Is it a coincidence or intention, Jennifer had this album without title as once you also great debut from 1984. And so we read in the beautiful cover simply changed its name to the distinctive lettering that adorns each of their albums since 1984. Musically woman Rush again delivers the finest pop music that ranges from rock-tinged songs to beautiful up faster, soulful ballads.

Vision of You - Jennifer opens the album with a cover version. And it makes the rather dull original an appealing and emotional ballad. The sound effect will also find handmade and authentic than the original by Belinda Carlisle. Vocally Jennifer is already second to none, great song.

I'm in it for love - Powerful and energetic sweeps this title through the album. Here Jennifer begins fairly quiet and behave, but the sound and especially her voice rise up in's immeasurable, the melody is just awesome. Already at first listen I was totally thrilled by this song, absolute highlight of the album.

Everything - with a nice electric guitar pop sound in the background creates a fairly brisk, cool title. The powerful voice of Jennifer comes here to its best advantage. In the intermediate part's interesting acoustic guitar sounds that perfectly adapt to the basic sound. Nice.

Wherever you are - Somewhere somewhere between ballad and Mittempotitel and with much feeling. The sound floats dreamily in the background and lets Jennifer's voice much space, and is so strong and full of feeling that you have been getting goosebumps. In sound can be heard among other beautiful saxophone sounds.

Never say never - The guitar sound gives the song a rocky touch. But above all, the title spread really good mood, sounds carefree and looks almost like a liberation after a long break. Jennifer has fun doing it and you can hear well here.

Unwanted child - little gloomy but beautiful ballad. The melody is unique and the chorus just great. The enormous power and force of Jennifer's voice is perfect. Ingenious title that no longer comes from the head.

Who I am - fully This ballad is focused on the voice of the singer. The slight quiet pop sound in the background occurs. Singing class, even if the melody appears somewhat unimpressive.

Waiting for the heartache - Stressed rocking, groovy and lively tracks. The prime melody hangs up and rips the same time. Jennifer's voice rocks here really well and the song is full of energy.

A Broken Heart - Quietly we go and all increases to the big chorus. The structure is steadily and systematically to Jennifer sings the finale of his lungs, while she is accompanied by a beautiful choir. Classical ballad with all sorts of beautiful sound elements, such as strings or saxophone.

Timeless love - And one more ballad afterwards, completely different from "A Broken Heart", somehow pained. The sharp sound ranges from piano to electric guitar genius. Actually a beautiful rock ballad and in combination with Jennifer's voice just awesome.

I can not say no - An exhilarating Poptitel with good danceable disco pop sound. On the computer edited voice of Jennifer during the verses you have to get used to first. Unlike any other title of her but quite well done.

For me this album is 1992 the best thing Jennifer Rush has done so far. Return with such a bang is already a huge achievement. She has mastered the balancing act effortlessly from the 80s to the present day, and this CD is the basis for this. Although her previous studio album at this time is recent 3 years, so you have here but feel that for Jennifer began her career a new section. Fresh and lively, clearer and better than ever.
