The opening track 'awakening' is a neunminuetiges Instrumetalstueck. It starts with Wasserplaetschern before the organ begins. The play is the most dynamic of the whole plate and has some successful keyboard and guitar passages in the course. In about half of the time a nice bass groove is to be admired.
The ten Miuten long 'Wunderschaetze' begins with Moog, bass and drums, before a very lyrical, melancholic piece with Akkustikgitarren developed. Heino Schünzel and Detlef Job alternate on vocals. I like the arguments put forward by Detlef Job verses better. Some verses are sung in several voices. This is particularly poignant. After about 4 minutes comes back the short Moogpart from the beginning, followed by Keyboardlaeufen and einemE guitar solo. Then set again the vocals. After the last verse which is sung in several voices, uses a motif Moog, which is taken up by the guitar and is enhanced in a way climax at their own pace. Even the drums is always driving. A bass-run adjusts itself. The Moog sound like sirens, it's a guitar solo developed with rocking workout before the typical rocking conclusion finishes the piece. A piece of a very large class.
Finally, the highlight of the plate. The 18 minutes long Titelstueck that of producer Achim Reichel (once a singer with the Rattles) was co-composed, begins with a slow drum and bass rhythm including spherically floating keyboards. In follows a great, fairly deep played keyboard melody. A beauty on the acoustic guitar sets in, which is repeated in the following a little too often. As compensation for this are in the background Wasserplaetschern to hear birds and gorgeous-spherical keyboards. The whole thing reminds me very much of the music from the PC game Unreal (who does not know this kind of music: Listen necessarily!). Just think of the levels 'Nyleve's Falls' and 'Harobed Village'. After more than 6 minutes, the quiet, vonGitarrist Detlef Job put forward singing begins. As background vocals are magnificent female voices. I feel really at the beach on a summer evening added. The following is an electric guitar Part and a portion which is vocally vorgettragen of bassist Heino Schünzel. It appears almost bored until a synth-Fanfare einsezt and the piece revives. Melidioese guitars and Moog magnificent gizmos can be heard and it rocks to match the text. It follows another section with vocals by Mr. Schünzel. Finally comes back the part that there ist.Dazu already known from the beginning of the play time great sound effects and keyboard melody is played sometimes even lower. The play ends with an ascending chord sequence, produced by spherical keyboards. The play is simply brilliant. I call it the German 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond'.
Overall, a great work of progressive rock. Heard in my personal 'Top Ten' list.
