With "Private Dancer" Tina Turner managed 1984 furious comeback after her separation from Ike Turner. The album was at that time awarded three Grammy Awards and is a true masterpiece. The test of time, it has certainly survived. It sounds as fresh and powerful as the day of publication.

Most of the songs have become international hits, whether "What's Love Got To Do With It", "I Can not Stand The Rain" or "Let's Stay Together". Ultimately, are the other songs the hits in every way, on this album's all true. Even the later added bonus tracks come close to the quality of the original album songs. In particular, "Do not Rush The Good Things" and "Rock And Roll Widow" are great. A very nice edition!
