This is the kind of book that opens eyes: we are so used to make slides with bullets dots and use half as a reminder when we present that we forget that there are different situations more effective ways to present. And above all we are not there to place the slides, but to convey a message.
Two weeks ago I finished reading this book, and already the practice seems a success. I made this my first week without presentation slides, using as a guiding principle "history" rather than the course "one idea - idea 2 - 3 idea," and putting at the end the participants a document (not a key USB with slides, but a Word document) that contains most of what I talked about - as bullet points. I took great pleasure to present, and it seems that the participants also took to listen.
Do not expect there to a step by step method to improve your slides, but rather an approach to the preparation of a message and its transmission. Essential reading for anyone who is addicted to bullet points.
