The final chapter of this fourth novel of the series Peter Grant are actually really exciting and rewarding the patient reader who has persevered until then. I would have found something more exciting, if not one of the reviewers here, apparently completely annoyed by what the rest of the more than 300 pages (not) done, would have taken the highlight of the show-downs anticipated. But I can understand what he or she may have so upset. It appears namely in Abspache between publisher and author to be on that show the trend, auszuwälzen an original and successful idea in more volumes, as the plot will bear to hit as much as possible commercial profit from it. The enormously the Detailed and technology-heavy descriptions of the police investigation with ten to twenty acronyms per side and the equally extravagant omissions on the London Architecture - - And so the elements that sometimes a bit too much of a good thing were in previous volumes are laid out here in Extremo. So the reader plagued by the pages and pages of description of the interior of an architect villa that may be full of vicious swipes for experts on the subject, but does not contribute to the action happening. Nor do this as always flamboyant productions different half deities, known as yet unknown, or the appearance of Peter's Krio-speaking mother. Wore these Erzählemente in the previous volumes yet for local color in, is now yet to clearly notice that it all came down to fill pages. Aaronovitch probably had the requirement to deliver them to the 350, with a strict deadline, which also like proofreading victim seems to sparkle. Once again, this has been disturbed in the earlier volumes, you can only run the spelling program that does not recognize known duplications or lack of articles and prepositions, etc.. The fact that there are four points in spite of these weaknesses, is because I realized at the end that Aaronovitch has managed to bind the reader of his characters, and by no means succeed each author. So you can now eagerly waiting, what will happen next in the fifth volume, and whether Aaronovitch back takes the shape of the first parts of this series.
