Sound Part 1 as an exciting mix of Satie, Debussy and Keith Jarrett, the pieces in Part 2 already resemble in parts badly piano exercises advanced. More classical, more conventional harmony and melody, more "chill out", more predictable arpeggios, less stress, less energy and passion, less ingenuity. In sum, to me complacent, too smooth. In short, the magic has disappeared for long stretches. Only occasionally flashes the musical sophistication of Part 1 for seconds on again, but only as a more or less direct reminiscence of Part I.
Conclusion: Chilly Gonzalez will mean for me to continue "Piano Solo 1", this disk I forget, give, lose ...
