All succeeded.

Advance let me say that I quite all other albums by Volbeat own, and hinfiebere on this album not only since the TV advertising. Too bad that me and certainly other Volbeat fans with Cape of our Hero, a small steamer was missed. The lead single sounds strong to radio music but how beats the rest of the album?

Lets Shake Some Dust:
It starts pretty good. The one and a half minute intro is very well chosen, it just makes you want more and conveys the mood of the entire album theme and Covers. Especially the harmonica like very much.

Pearl Hart:
The first song in full length is Pearl Hart. Right at the beginning falls to the very harmonious melody and the straightforward guitar playing. However, the chorus gives me like Cape strong impression of a promising single, less the an interesting experiment. The latter would have preferred, but convinced me of the song. The sung melody, the lyrics, the parts of the law hard rhythm guitar and solos have then yet enough own character. No song I would greatly missed, but quite successful.

The Nameless One:
And there he is, the firecracker, to which I had been waiting for. A mixture of hard rock and metal, comparable to Heavon Nor Hell. The text could recall one or another fan to the one or the other characters from older Volbeat songs. The second half of the song is determined in part by a bridge and a guitar solo, both of which fit exactly into the melancholy Western mood of the album. Melodic and other modern Volbeatstücken to pack in a category such as Heaven and traps.

Dead But Rising:
Rising Dead But in my opinion it is one more. This song is more classic, hard metal riffs paired me Michaels penetrating, extremely well fitting voice. And as always, also this song is always very melodic and complex. Currently this is my favorite on this album.

Cape of our Hero:
Here's the single, which have been known for days. Quite a nice piece of music, but in such a boring and uneventful and not so full of the typical characteristics of the Danes, as one wishes to be a fan. And at all the songs fit only limited to the album theme. No song I'll hear many times, shame. Nevertheless, this song should be shown respect. It is in my opinion still a quality piece that will disappear but between other much more interesting pieces of Volbeat into oblivion.

Room 24:
And right after that: the complete opposite. Room 24 contains the feature guest King Diamond. The song is characterized by hard, restless guitar riffs and a dark text theme. Furthermore, the cooperation in the vocals of Michael and King Diamond decisive for my overall impression. A song as you could wish for him to Cape of our Hero. Interesting is actually the alternating vocals, and it is clear to me that King Diamond against Michael Poulsen has not the slightest chance. I'm sorry, this sounds highly safe for Volbeat fanboy, but I see the nunmalsehr good song!

The Hangmans Bodycount:
Another favorite who has quite Thrash character. Each stanza is both instrumental and vocal drawn repeatedly to a climax in the form of a refrain. Anyway, this song is quite varied and the two short sounding solo is equally short, the Hammer. Very impulsive and once again offers this very melodic song very much its own character, I have not heard in this form with Volbeat.

My Body:
This is one of the weaker songs. Where the text can convince me yet, the music fails something. Let's say it is lagging behind. The song remains from behind to front pretty uninteresting, is very into the air and has no highlights. The hard rhythm guitar remains on track (blurred anyway my favorite instrument slightly in the high tones). This song could also have been omit well. Too Bad.

Lola Montez:
It is different with Lola Montez. This song is a little too undefined. He reminds me of Thanks, of course, goes textually in a completely different direction, namely in the a men seducing dancer: here makes Michaels text together with the music being played all the work. Black Bart:

Another feature guest: Sarah Blackwood. It is very interesting to see how she sings the written text of Michael. I notice here again, how unique are its melodies and also harmonize well with female voice. However, there is missing me on this song a bit of aggressiveness and the chorus sounds a little worn for my ears, as though Michael sang this song several times at different variants. The acoustic guitar, but with a rock and roll rhythm and funky sounding guitar, but proves the bandwidth that delivers Volbeat again. All in all, I would like to call this item a little less exciting but succeeded follow-up to 16 dollars.

The Sinner is You:

Doc Holliday:

Succeeded the album is all. However Volbeats style has now been modified so that it is the first album, The Strength / The Sound / The Songs simply no longer be compared. Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil, however, shows more creativity and hardness, Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood is as unequaled and puts this album unfortunately in the pocket. Unfortunately, blurring the uniqueness of Volbeat in a little too polished and unspectacular, too little hard melodies and riffs.
I appreciate this album and enjoy it still very far in full measure, also because Michael's intentions, a lot of variety and the fulfillment of the whole subject, which sums up the album title in words, was quite well done.
