Paradoxically, this game is just like those who have turned to the Eastern RPG school. It follows in the tradition of Final Fantasy, Xenogears, Persona and Suikoden. While Dragon Age impressed particularly by elements of D & D, a story that had in the best manner represents the western school, the game Fallout, The Elders Scrolls and Baldur's Gate was similar in many elements to this seemingly changed in the second part. Dragon Age II would mean quite different, would remain out of the disappointment, because the Western-oriented players have not accessed. Both schools have their place and forging both bring excellent games out.
The biggest advantage of Dragon Age II is his story that belongs to the best what could be seen on this generation. The world has shown very convincing and violence, drugs and prostitution are not taboo. Background information can be read in the options menu and so can be submerged even deeper into this world. The characters all have their problems, quirks, making them just as human (Elvish / Dwarvish). There is no team in the scantily clad bathing beauty, no ax-wielding dwarf, not huge, muscle-bound swordsman. Alas, time and again the story. What's happening on the screen thrilling and very exciting. The dialogues still dashing and interesting, the quests are, unlike many other games, interesting to 80% and limited to only rarely do that from simple errands and looking for any objects. Before problems of a moral nature of the players is very often asked. Example without spoiler: Because the companion can leave the team, depending on the behavior Hawks (main character), or even be able to turn on the other hand, the player has to ask whether it makes the public good, or the particular interests of a companion follow. Also the conflict between freedom and security is discussed. How far can also be passed in order to achieve a supposedly good end goal?
I'm excited. And I can make a fundamental Buy recommendation for those who put more emphasis on the story as a small technical error. To all others: Forget the title and play it as a stand-alone game. Expect. No answers to open questions and immerse yourself in a story that has no equal not examined with a candle, but with an enormous spotlight And yet nothing takes long. I have nothing to look for, because an excellent game would once again come to know in all its facets. From me it is 92%.
