Dead Space at its best

Since the first part, I'm a big fan of the Dead Space series. The horror, the gameplay, the story, and indeed the whole space thing fascinated me from the beginning. Parts 1 and 2, I have already played many times and for me both are true classics! Nevertheless DS3 is my personal favorite part of the series. DS3 could for me in all points raised the bar once again put up. The game is much longer, has side missions in space there is plenty to do and discover, and also when it comes to horror was again one better! All changes that have been made, I personally find very successful. On a few points I would like to address in more detail herein, because I do not want to ignore the negative reviews to DS3.

First time the new weapons system:
The new upgrade system with the boards and the self-made weapons is much more individual than the old one. Whereas in the past needs to tune all about a gun ready to adapt its weapons to the style of play you now. Finally, I can make the weapons so as I want, for example, my TMP with rocket launchers or Forcegun with Linegun combined etc. The self-made weapons can let the smack, which is partly also really necessary! Why some complain about the Waffenbausystem me is not entirely clear, since there is still to buy any old Dead Space weapons in the shop (or now Bank). One finds the Blue plans for weapons in the game and can then buy the way it has always been. One should maybe mention clearly that the whole construct weapons is only optional. One can play like always! Incidentally, the game can also be played in classic mode, where the possibility of constructing is nonexistent!
As for the upgrade boards you can now decide on what you value sets with a weapon. Rate of fire, reload, damage and clip size are now alone player a matter of taste. In addition to the boards, there are still times 2 expansion slots per weapon where you can place more diverse cool upgrades for weapons.

Now a few words about the horror:
For me, the horror has improved. When I think of the elevator with the bleeding eyes or those funny Nutcracker I war still creeps. Can hear barren mere fact that both players see different things was very scary. The Audiologs are partially really very disturbing in DS3. Of course, the Necromorphs with your absolutely aggressive style and its sudden emergence of the gun still absolutely are. In principle, I can say that the horror in DS3 rather psycho horror as in Silent Hill has become normal struggles rather Action orientieret. As a small downer for the horror in DS3 is sorry to say that much of it is present only in the side missions or the Awakend DLC. So if you only play alone the normal story does not get it with so much. However, I am assuming that Dead Space fans play the game completely and because you really get horrifically at his own expense. Therefore, I can not understand here so very criticism.

Also very good, I find that there is no money / shop but more material. Everything is designed in DS3 to the bank! This fits for a better engineer Isaac Clark and secondly the shops for me have never been so much sense; I mean as the shops are typically used !? Buy the workers there the ammunition for your own tools of their hard earned money. I could never imagine quite how that is supposed to work with the stores in daily mining / mining business to me.
Kudos there by myself for the Co-op mode. If you play alone runs after no annoying computer next to a partner, but you're really alone and the story is a bit different. If you play a couple can work together and super Carver story was interesting and sometimes very scary.

Conclusion: For me personally, every innovation / change that was made in DS3 is an improvement! Probably the problem is in DS3 that too many changes from the 2nd were made on the 3rd. Had the changes over 2 Games distributes it would have been perhaps better accepted because the players can slowly get used to it.
