My first novel Sarah Dessen and I must say that I was spellbound. This story is indeed very strong. She talks about rape, anorexia, loss of friends ... We are seeing a number of self-reconstructions. And the pen of this author is powerful, filled with emotion that makes this novel strong. It reminds us that it is always easier to lie than tell the truth, hiding rather than face the truth. And I loved discovering Annabelle and especially Phil, a mysterious boy, but that has only one motto: Truth. Indeed, it never lies, always says what he thinks ... And it forces us to question ourselves! A moment rich in emotion, a book and a writer I really recommend you to discover!
