Even now with 40 years shows Kool Savas yet where raptechnisch hangs the hammer. After "Aura", which probably mitschwamm on the shaft of the thoughtful and offered a retrospective on Savas' life and career, there is the successor "martyrs" only one thing: Brutal forward, attack all along the line. And you also get. The album is a sweeping attack on the rapper scene, with cross-references and allusions in every song ("..with the wrong foot stood like Oscar Pistorius').
Practically the whole album is a response to the dispute between KKS fans and fans of Kollegah who see their idols each as King of Rap (want) without putting but even once the whole issue directly to the language. Clear like Kollegah can rap fast and clear like Kollegah can also build on crass long rhyme chains, but in my eyes Savas is in things flow and technology and especially live performances better off.
After a thoughtful album like "Aura" and a simply everything bursting album as "martyrs" can be confidently curious as to what is to come. It's me.
