The single can recognize and imagine that the selected with "Once" way was pursued consistently and intensively. The new singer of the band has certainly given new impetus and tried skillfully to be no cheap copy of Mrs Turunen. The only complaint is the orientation of "Amaranth" to "Stand My Ground" (Within Temptation) and therefore the typical Nightwish sound is missing. But even with "Nemo" many bad reviews are left from the deck - very wrongly as it turned out later. "Amaranth" is similar to "Nemo", a song for the hit parade, all other tracks from "Dark Passion Play" are certainly sound more like Nightwish, as this is a "hit parade-Track".
