American Hard Rock special class

Breaking Bejamin have been the most prominent newcomer in 2004 in the Nu Metal for me - Genre. The band from Pennsylvania rose in July 2004 in the Billboard charts immediately at number 20. The first single of the album "So Cold" has pulled me tremendously in its spell: Huge guitar reefs, syncopated bass lines and several voices form a sad, simple genius concerning the sound mood.
Breaking Benjamin offer rock the harder way, they sound like a mixture of saliva, Sevendust or Adema. The songs are partly sad and depressed, but also a positive and vibrant ("Simple Design") they rock cheerfully going on ("follow me"), or convince it by huge bass / drum passages with power -. Refrain as "Firefly" All Songs. the band show perfect songwriting, most of the songs have catchy melodies.
The only (negative) outliers is "Forget it", a completely strange song. At first I thought my CD player is broken when suddenly keyboards and sweet melodies come out of the speakers and the whole sounds like Ricky Martin or Enrique Iglesias. But it be forgiven them.
They offer other songs like "Sooner or later", "Breakdown" or "Believe" back hard rock of the first order.
So I can only recommend this CD rock fans.
