I do not understand why such a serious publisher Henry Lemoine choississe to repeat this famous and effective collection without very relevant comments of the masters of the time. There are times when comments established across partitions have little interest. Here, take these comments is a bit remove part of the soul of this collection of exercises. They enriched this collection. They were very clear and gave off a good clean sense of the masters of the time. They were further without forgetting that the key is to work these exercises with a competent teacher of course. But I generally appreciate Henry Lemoine editions. It's a shame. Only positive: the spirals, it's so convenient. I recommend heading to the old editions even if they are less attractive.
