The Main Titles are a fine lightweight piece with guitar and strings and horns. A sweet melody serves as a hanger and into the album. "Teaching assembly" goes far in the direction of a certain Thomas Newman! Very playful resembles the music the fabric of American Beauty in approaches and is great fun. "One hundred Remembers" lead for the first time a piano and the music is serious, but does not lose its beauty. Although the tone darker and more serious "The Big Test" is it never loses its freshness and lightness.
"One hundred Quits" is a beautiful piano theme and is very reminiscent of James Newton Howard as he is known, as "25 Years Later". As Howard is alone with strings transported many feelings through music never fails to impress. "Elizabeth" is a short but beautiful piece and very romantic and kept in "hundreds Comes Clean" the music is only dark and brightens up at the end with strings on.
What is unfortunately shame is the shortness of the music. About 30 minutes of footage is already the limit for an album.
The pieces are all nice to hear but it lacks the continuous thread. Sounds album in the second half much like James Newton Howard, so the beginning is but rather assign a different style.
Conclusion: Fresh and beautiful material of any of it can definitely good. With guitar, strings and piano and horns and other instruments Howard creates here a höhrenswertes sound with some higlights. It does not always have large and meaningful hard to convince. This music is easy and fun and if you do is push with the right expectations of the matter is this album very convincingly. A star I subtract the sake of brevity of the album.
