From ten selling "high-end" SSDs me have gone four within the first days or even hours broken, but no manufacturer Intel.
Since these experiences I buy only Intel SSDs, whatever the guys differently .. it works!
Also priced the 120 SSD from Intel is quite well positioned compared to the competition.
The good at Amazon: Within the first month, the return name is a breeze (if the delivery was made by Amazon), which is important in such hardware!
Many discounters provide happy but remove faulty hardware back very reluctant, because Amazon is one of the best.
120GB make particular sense as a system disk (C drive on Windows), which should be sufficient for all the programs often used, RAM caching, temporary manure and the Windows OS.
Windows 7 should be used, which is equipped for SSDs in the "best".
To use the full read and write rate need a motherboard with SATA 3 Port (the retrofit does not help! The free PCI-Express lanes are in fact all too slow!)
With Intel CPUs all motherboards are what the 2nd generation of the I7 (or later) support the 6 Gigabit SATA 3 equipped.
Watching: Usually only 2 ports with 6 Gbps (SATA 3, 600) are available, the rest is half as fast (SATA 2, 300)
Software Technically, it is important the Intel SSD Toolbox [...] to install, everything else is checked with the Toolbox. Among other things, system optimization and SSD optimizations (TRIM keyword for good write rates)
Tested with AS-SSD Benchmark does my Intel SSD 520 after a few months of operation, 494MB / sec read rate and 130MB / sec write rate.
It should be noted that the quite enormous collapse in the write rate with my Intel 510 SSD has not happened.
The collapse of the sequential write rate is also the reason for the star trigger, it is painful but in terms of overall performance for most certainly acceptable.
That is what distinguishes the SSDs of the "non-sequential read access" hard drives break this enormous one.

Buy recommendation! Good price / quality ratio, Best Performance, Best durability with 5 years warranty for hedging
