Having used several types of GPS, the Dakota is a great product. Great for hiking and cycling feet and occasionally drive. But for downloading maps, it is not simple. It seems that Garmin is always generous with his information. To download the right card you must have patience and stay calm and have time ahead. Not easy. I had to take several times the download. Documentation (download) is not too bad, but Garmin cry details. I recommend that a beginner is done by a friend to help. But the purchase of a "Practical Guide GPS" is useful to find out the marriage, mapping and GPS. But other than that, Dakota 20 is still my companion walking and cycling. JJ. L
