I have the equipment purchased in late 2013 and after exactly four weeks of sporadic use (mostly on weekends), the unit would not turn back. Transports it was in an original Samsung protective case. It is neither fallen nor got wet. The display, not the outer pane has a minimum tear. The device is externally completely without prejudice and new. The damage is not covered by the warranty. Samsung is attributable to improper use. If I had informed myself reasonable, I would never have bought the device. Postings on the Internet are full of similar cases. Even the trade press is aware of the problem, since there is already often occurred when S3 and S4 at large. However, Samsung turns stubbornly. The case is now with my lawyer.
