Black Sails at Midnight (CD)

Customer Review

A thousand portholes! That's already the new delivery of our Scottish buccaneers. `Not drag the sailors!
"Black sails at midnight" picks up where things had been left with Captain Morgan's Revenge. No surprise, those who loved the first episode will love that one. 2 titles are already well known as the most curious part of the mini cd Leviathan released earlier this year ("Leviathan" and "Wolves of the sea") with a slightly different mix, which puts more forward side Symphony, history does not propose again the exact same way.
The hymns bawling loudly, beer in hand (or the bottle of rum, for the more adventurous) abound ("Wolves of the sea", "That famous ol 'spiced'). The little watered festnoz side is always there too ("Keelhauled", "No Quarter") due to interventions, numerous traditional instruments. The little novelty comes, as I said earlier, a symphonic orchestration on some titles.
It is joyful, festive, no need several listenings to get into it. These little guys have really understood everything. Without taking themselves seriously for a minute, they make us spend some quality time. And in these times not really funny, escape is necessary, right?
If the legendary pirates who sailed the seas were still with us, what music do you think they would listen?
Another one who will turn for a moment on my plate!
