Interested TV with passive 3D and Open browser

0.) Buyer's Guide:
Wanted to a 3D TV with Glasses (cheaper, no headache since flicker, you must not charge more easily), with 2D> 3D conversion (to view and TV program in 3D), built-in DVB-S receiver (did not want external box and no other remote control) and DVR-ready (for timeshifting and recording simple programming via the EPG of the TV). And an open-browser (with Flash for Video) for Internet surfing.
Passive 3D TV there were only LG, Philips and Panasonic (have all of the LG panels).
Have envisaged the entry-level devices LG 620S, Panasonic and Philips ETW5 6007K. The 6007K had according to Amazon reviews software problems. Property me therefore only the LG 620S and the ETW5 viewed the media market.
The LG TV reflects strong and one should in this regard before buying check the site (the Panasonic reflects slightly less but still more than my Two years old glare Sony LCD TV).
Because of the lower price I bought my LG 37LM620S.

1) Installation:
The TV is well packaged. From 47 "it is not advisable to mount the TV alone.
The TV is 3.5cm deep (in the boxes at the bottom of 5cm).
The 2cm slim frame in brushed anthracite looks great!
Front lower right are easily accessible, barely visible buttons with which you can operate the TV without remote control.
The manual provides guidance for the assembly of the stand and safety.
The stand is not available in piano lacquer finish (= dust collector). My big 47 "TV vibrates when touched in the base, but there is no danger that he cant. The stand can be swiveled approx +/- 10 ° turn. Two mounting clips allow the orderly and invisible laying of the connection cable.
For a good 3D effect of the TV should be mounted at eye level.
In lg.com and Amazon.com the images of TV Rear view are wrong. The connections are all positioned better sideways or down and thus for wall mounting. In addition, the 65 "TV datasheet has a different base (see Amazon customer images). The 42LM620S lt. Only 93,3cm wide, but in fact 98,5cm!

2.) settings:
The factory setting is automatically started when you first turn, but can also be performed later via Settings-> options-> default setting again.
Members from Austria have to choose a country Germany if they want to use HbbTV.
The DVB-T and DVB-C tuner you can not share unfortunately. (There is only one antenna connector. When scanning only either DVB-T or DVB-C TV channels can be searched.)

The screen "Standard" has unnatural colors (bright green grass, blue tint), also unhappy I am with the other picture modes (Intelligent Sensor, Vivid, Cinema, Game, Expert 1 + 2). Therefore, I have adapted to the "Picture Wizard II" of the TV picture settings. Thereafter, however, lacked the image details in the shadow areas. Finally, I copied my Free Test images from the Internet to a USB flash drive (Audio Vision test image and the Burosch HD test patterns).
I personally prefer natural rather than bold colors, warm rather than cold hues, image detail in dark areas instead of a good black level. Accordingly, I am satisfied with the following settings:

Was initially very disappointed because the picture was significantly worse than in my two years older 37 "Sony LCD the same price class.
After switching off all "Bildverschlimmbesserer" and setting the "Picture Mode" (see 2.) remains as downer of relatively poor "Schwartz value" (for IPS panel).

The usual artifacts of LED TVs are the 37 "Fortunately, inconspicuous.
At 47 ', however, are at a black screen, a gray screen and cloudy gray areas visible (= Flashlights or Clouding); with a white screen detects one strip-shaped discoloration; in screen panning on solid background (eg grass, snow), the screen appears as if he bad cleaned would (= DSE or vertical bending).
However, judder or ghosting are me "not noticed (With TruMotion) also at 47.
Whether the error during normal TV operation and thus disturb a refund is payable depends on how sensitive you are and how much the image defects are pronounced. (Due to the variation within a series vary the error.)

2D> 3D conversion delivers a surprisingly good result (as if you would see through the TV frame of a window). Right "pop-out" - effects has one but only with "real" 3D material from a 3D BluRay or Sky 3D (currently the only 3D satellite program that sends not only for testing purposes). 4) Media Player (SmartShare):
The media player can play back photos, videos and music files.

Mir known limitations:
DTS audio is not played back via USB.
If you connect a digital camera via USB to the TV so can not be played stored on the camera videos.

5.) recording functions (shift, DVR):
Supported recording media: USB hard drive (HDD =) 40GB up to 2TB. USB flash drives are not supported.
Required memory: SD-TV: 3.5 GB / h, HD-TV: 9GB / h.
Promote the inaudible Intenso Memory Station 500GB External Hard Drive (6.4 cm (2.5 inches), USB-Y cable) black.

The HDD can infect various LG TVs and record movies. But you can not play recordings which have been made by another LG TV.

The time-shifted television (= shift) is self-explanatory (just pause button press).
What was new for me, that is constantly being added. (The last 1.5 hours from starting the TVs be included, if the shift mode is switched on.) This can also rewind if you want to watch a scene again.
The programming of the digital video recorder (DVR =) works very easily via the electronic program guide (easy GUIDE button).
The inclusion lists (programmed or recorded programs) can be accessed via the OK or My Apps button.
The recording does this via the internal DVB-T / S (C untested) tuner perfectly. (Decrypted Even with about CI module transmitters. A CI + module usually blocked the shot.)

During a TV recording you can watch any other TV channels. (As TVs in this price range have built no dual tuner.) Unfortunately, you can not change the DVB tuner. The use of the media player (and therefore USB or network) is not possible while recording!
During a TV recording you can however view video from an external source (eg external satellite receiver or DVD player.) Or a recorded program.

6) Internet (browser, apps):
Have connected a TV via an Ethernet cable to the LAN.
The second TV via a USB wireless adapter to the wireless network. Since the FW update 4:51:03 works only the LG AN-WF100. (The Netgear WNDA3100 unfortunately does not work!)
The connection to the network was carried out happily each automatically.

Through the full browser (similar to InternetExplorer8) you have access to all HTML web pages. Thanks to Flash, you can also play back videos. (With the latest firmware also in full screen mode.) For me incomprehensible reasons the outdated Flash Player version 10.1 is not renewed by a firmware update to at least 11.2 (as with Samsung TVs). Therefore, unfortunately, not all videos will play (eg Mediatek RTL)
Page building a website: approx 2s. Wait until the start of a video: approx 20s!

The "premium apps" are pre-installed on TV. Premium Apps (for country setting: Germany) include: YouTube (for videos), max cathedrals (for pay movies), Zattoo (for InternetTV), vTuner (Internet Radio). Skype (requires LG VC400 camera VC300 only works for 2010/2011 LG TVs) and Facebook I have not tested.
You can also download apps from the LG App Store. On lgappstv.com you can before the TV-buying information which apps are available (3D video, games, ...). If the TV is not enough internal memory of approximately 350MB for one can on USB Apps port of a TV Connect USB flash drive as additional memory (USB flash drive is formatted here from the TV!).

7) Input Devices (USB wireless mouse or keyboard, LG MR300, LG TV remote app):
The browser can not be used comfortably with the remote control, since the navigation and text input with the 4 "direction keys" is very time consuming.

As an option, any USB wireless mouse and keyboard connect. Wherein the keyboard does not necessarily need because Internet addresses on a screen keyboard can also be entered with the wireless mouse alone. In pure TV mode operation with a wireless mouse is just as comfortable as with the remote control. Unfortunately, I have no way found the mouse display the main menu.
If you want a keyboard, so I can recommend the following USB wireless keyboard with integrated touchpad: Logitech K400 keyboard cordless black with touchpad (German keyboard layout, QWERTY)

I use the LG AN-MR300 Magic Motion remote control (the MR200 will only work for the 2011 TVs). It combines the buttons on a remote control with the functions of a wireless mouse (with accelerometer).

Even more convenient to operate the TVs done if you own an Android smartphone / tablet or iPhone / iPad. With one app you can then operate the TV via WLAN (or Wi-Fi Direct).
The app was renamed in late 2012 on "LG TV Remote". (Easily confused with "LG TV Remote 2011".) Fortunately, the free app now available in the German App Stores (Google Play and iTunes) is available. She now works perfectly, and other useful functions (keyboard, game pad, ...) were added together.

8) home network (DLNA streaming or, WiDi, Wi-Fi Direct):
Media files (music, photos and videos) to a home network by location (PC, Smartphon, NAS, ...) will be streamed to the TV.
Conversely, the stream from the TV to another playback device is not possible.
From my Android Smartphon and my computers with Windows 7, the streaming works automatically (= DLNA).
Before first use, you have to click only on the Control Panel "media data for streaming free".
To my surprise, the positive media files are automatically displayed into folders on TV, and only need to be selected with the remote control.
You can see the media files but also "send" to TV: On PC with Windows7 is Simply the media file is clicked with the right mouse button and select "Play on ...", and you start playback of photos, videos or song on TV. As only mark the media file on Android Smartphon and select "Play on ...".

If you have no home network, so you can alternatively on "Wi-Fi Direct" (= data transmission between two wireless devices without a central access point), media information on the location (eg Smartphon) stream to TV.

When connecting the TV via a slow wireless jerky video when playing. The transmission speed over the wireless depends mainly on the removal of the access points from the TV. My WLAN with 54Mbit / s is sufficient for even full HD videos to stream liquid from my HTPC for TV. Bucking occurs only when I stream from a slow PC or laptop with me.
