1. The pit itself:
It "disturb" me in the end three things: 1. The standby mode is activated after a few minutes, so a bit annoying when the boxes are operated on a PC and can be heard in addition to the work and music, but this just is not continuous. 2. The pit be activated from sleep mode with a slight crack and controlled as a slave by the master box is activated only 2-3 seconds later, so it takes a few seconds to start a song, comes to music from both speakers. In addition, in very quiet-heard classical music, it is possible that the speakers switch to Standby mode, although the music still goes on. 3. The remote control makes a rather cheap impression in the price range of boxes. That this can Nubert quality, has just proved only with the remote control the soundbar.
2. To my purpose as a multimedia speakers on the PC:
This was my personal decision, so I can not be blamed for Nubert, but I think it makes sense to describe my subjective impression. Despite a large desk, the boxes are not only oversized and take a lot of space one, but also the listening distance is not big enough for me. In my view the boxing their skills can not develop in 50-80cm distance. I would prefer here 1,5-2,5m, but this is just a subjective point of view.
What have the points 1 and 2 now for consequences for my use? I'll bring the Nuberts either in the dining room or in the reading room for applications where continuous music is played, as in my PC and use the boxes better effect in the room,
For the PC I will either bring me back the Harman Kardon Sound Sticks, which I've owned for years and make a very elegant impression incl. Subwoofer. HKS have for the price (1 / 4-1 / 5 of Nuberts) an exceptionally good sound or I'm going to the very well-rated (here I also recommend the reviews at Amazon.com to look) Audioengine A2 + Get a PC loudspeaker transmits. - As an alternative to the Nuberts the Audioengine 5+ seem to be a rewarding and presigünstigere alternative.
So all in all, please do not misunderstand that Nuberts are tip boxes and I would buy it again. With the smaller under item no. 1 disadvantages I can live, especially if the boxes are no longer run by me on a PC. For me, I just had to say that I bought the boxes for the wrong purpose, which of course does not detract from the performance of the product itself.
Has to be mentioned positively here prompt and friendly before buying response from Nubert to an email request on my part.
