Partly good and partly weak

The Introduction:
Not too exciting or spectacular to take on the role of the unsung heroes of Risen 1, which its existence mitlerweile ekes out a member of the Inquisition and drowning the rest of his life in alcohol.
It is fast and purring tracks once sent back and forth through the small Fort and then playing on the beach the savior for a pirate in distress. The tutorial is quite alright with pops up commands like 'button to jump XY / pick up to / beat etc .. ". Particularly difficult to control is not.
The inventory is beautifully designed and clearly. Especially you have an overall view of his crew and the private collection of rare items that can be found in the game.

The Story:
The story is not all that spectacular. Humanity is doomed and therefore flock to its withdrawal from the ravaged country and attracts the south in the new, green, already partly colonized countries. For the great ocean in between must be crossed only once, which turns out to be quite difficult enough when you consider that running a Davy Jones like a relatively aggressive Tussie with their house animals in the ocean amok. So you will be sent along with a pack pirates to find a way both to destroy and to propose a path of humanity. So you are looking at now some artifacts together, which of course are not so easy to achieve, yet loses his ship and go an expensive crew member concerned a new and is exposed on an island. Actually a typical Pirate Adventure, unfortunately without sea battles.

The combat system:
That I think is probably the most kritisierteste point in the game. Naturally.
However, I must say that I quite look good and comprehensible approaches here.
The fights are divided initially into 2 broad categories. Fighting against humanoid opponents and fighting against animal opponent. The latter are probably unausgereifteren and make white besonderst annoying. A sword can still block, but what endures is located opposite teeth, claws and paws? Not at all. The World:
The world I liked particularly well in Risen 2. It comes stehts on a beautiful Caribbean feeling. The graphics are good, elaborated the world lovingly. There are many little secret village or caves, climbing sections, farms, and villages Stätdchen. It offers stehts something new and raises a really nice feeling pirates. The characters look all too similar and often speak some with the same voice. In addition, you will notice that many of the caves ala Dragon Age 2 was created with Copy & Paste. But the whole thing does not detract too much. You go into the world in his role as a pirate on completely. Find treasures and dig, booze people under the table, plunder graves, people using his little monkey steal etc. etc. But it bothers me, as its predecessor, that the world fails somewhat small. Cities is little more than 3 houses / huts and jungle you go through once within 5 minutes.

Other:
One can invest a lot of time, there is much to discover and gather together in the game. Man goes on in his role as a pirate completely. Nevertheless frustet a game in the long run but a little, especially. Because of the uncut combat system and quickly explored Game World But if you like pirates and a "game Happen" in between takes, which I can only put Risen 2 ans heart. Because it's certainly not too bad;)
