Rockstar surprised: Innovative but boring

I have the game now played out. I any case, the main story played, did a lot of vehicles, fought many street crimes and widely read newspaper. My conclusion is, unfortunately, in total, I was disappointed.

I will start but the very important positive point that has made the "LA Noire" -Spielprinzip only possible. The motion capture including the associated benefits. Never saw in a video game animated characters from life-like than here. The facial animations incl. Smallest movements and the movements of the body raise the current video game standard to a new level. It is beinanhe unbelievable how many facial movements can be displayed with the current technology and distinguished by the player. This looks all very, very human from. And I think we all can look forward to the performance of the next generation of consoles already.

Now comes the big BUT: The rest of the game proceeds to linear, monotonous and too little challenging to really captivate.

- Searching and finding of evidence at the crime scenes turns out to be simply clicking in the right places

As I said: Alone for the very innovative approach to the game Rockstar deserves many awards. However, it has not been able them to make this innovation be incorporated into a round game experience.
The attentive reader of this review will have already noticed that I had great motivation problems at stake. I had bought it for me because of my high expectations even before the official release date. Meanwhile, several weeks have passed and I have only these days tormented by the recent cases of the main story ... Any questions?

CONCLUSION:
The trade press and many buyers seem to be in broad agreement that "LA Noire" the playful flyer at all. That seems to be as so often, the natural herd instinct. Unlike the stick beyond me top marks by the trade press and many players can not be explained. Sorry, but I do the many positive judgments with the best will not connect.
At this point I need to mention the side 4players.de. That seems to be the only independent critics who evaluate a game as objectively as possible. And even with "LA Noire" were the only ones who have rated the game realistic and relatively critical in my eyes.

"LA Noire" offers very good approaches, can total but unfortunately not convincing. Perhaps, however, everything is a little better with the next Rockstar Game. Let's hope the best.
