The price of 10 and less is absolutely appropriate, the power supply is processed with 1500mA charging current very powerful and in Sony quality.
In power supplies, it never pays to save that 3 USB power supplies that are often found here usually advertise with false performance figures and plain fake certification mark, many are highly dangerous or interfere with the function of load devices when. Here it is as expected not the case, as far as Sony has done everything right.

Very sad but in my opinion is that Sony deliberately ignored (as with the overpriced memory cards) existing standards here.
Thus, this power supply can for example not be used to charge your smartphone or tablet, since the USB connector is approximately 5 mm deep into the body and normal USB connector just do not fit. Similarly, it is incomprehensible to me why necessarily a proprietary charging cable must be used, and not established in phones and tablets microUSB cable. Then both PS Vita and this power supply with other devices and power supplies using the existing cable in many households would be compatible. These come with prices from 1,50 also considerably cheaper than the PS Vita USB cable.

My conclusion: A very high quality, reliable power supply at reasonable price, by irrgeleites Sony marketing unfortunately forced, unnecessary restrictions.
