I use the glass as "interchangeable lens", because I use my WMF mill mostly with black pepper and only from time to time with white pepper. The exchange-glass with the white pepper in it can be closed with the plastic cover of the mill supplied. So you have several types of pepper in the budget variant and needs only a pepper mill.
