The kompositiorische omnipotence had again occupied Schaffer, on a song was even Matt Barlow still involved. However, this album turns out a total of more mixed. The songs do not ignite to the extent that I * was the usual nor * The Dark Saga * or * The Night Of The Stormrider. Another problem I saw in person the all-American theme of the album, which revolved around the American Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg. A topic that is only of interest related to a European, but even here, the metal scene grow with the American subjects, considering that even the German metal band Mob Rules * * extensively dedicated to the Kennedy assassination.
The limited edition is still waiting on further with a bonus CD, which I will assess unspecified. It is pretty much the most boring accessory I've ever experienced (purely subjective regarded course) and pushes me to the rhetorical question as to who ever needs something? The die-hard fan perhaps? Just curious, why I will not need that.
In summary, I can only write that in addition to the usual strong Album Artwork, four or five good songs and a bonus disc, nothing is uninteresting to the 2004 disc of Iced Earth turn. At Ripper Owens hath not located, which makes a splendid job, hats verschustert alone Jon Schaffer, which I however can forgive this blunder. It works just not always!
CONCLUSION: can not suspect so glorious as the title ...
