I'm a guitarist and since the third album Mud on the Tires big Brad Paisley fan. The new album Wheelhouse Brad Paisley has produced for the first time itself, the recordings took place in a converted house exclusively with his live band instead. Even earlier were his albums for my taste much organic and more playful than the recorded average Nashville-product, but it is nevertheless of session musicians support (backing vocals, keyboards, bass). Wheelhouse is not as produced glossy grand as his previous albums, the songs seem less durcharrangiert. At first I found the sound very "full" and clearly undifferentiated, but with repeated listening like it always better. Most importantly, the songs that I like fantastic. In prudish USA because of several alleged "taboos" (Song Topics Domestic Violence, Religion, Racism, rapper LL Cool J has include a guest appearance) discussed controversially, I can always hear from the other hand, any subject which quite serious intentions. But always also the winking and sympathetic for me Brad Paisley Art remains. The playfulness of the musicians is unrestrained and the songs often ohrwurmig. In particular, by listening to the entire album (eg in the car) I really enjoy the songs act in spite of the somewhat "rougher" character than previously arranged very carefully and are often associated with short lines. Since device a balancing act between two very different songs like "I Can not Change The World" and "Karate" extraordinary. The usual fantastic guitar playing look through again and again, without pushing itself into the foreground. From me a very clear Reinhör- and buy recommendation!
