Somehow, "The Dark Saga" to be the most popular album of Iced Earth with the fans. I can understand that not because usually bands in Metal are - area stoned when they are melodic. Of course, I welcome the development of the band, even though I grieve after the unbridled power of the second album "Night Of The Stormrider". The title track is too cheap guitar riff from easy, as he has the makings of a classic. For this, the song seems very constructed and not so spontaneous. "I'd Died For You" has just as "The Hunter" a wonderful chorus but rather also lies not behind. "Vengeance Is Mine" Like back better, because here are the guitars, the driving force and that has always been the hallmark of the Amis. I miss a bit of the mysticism of the first three albums. Overall, the album is just Knitted tunic and does of course not hurt me. But for the good tunes I give four points, but my criticism is appropriate.
