What shocks me is that translation and comments are distinguished by anything in the presentation. You have one or two pages on the translation of a chapter of the Tao, topped by its number, then several pages of comments surmounted the same number, and printed in the same size, same font, same style as translation. In any similar work, most authors strive to highlight, in a simple way (italics, bold ...), the text they are working to comment. Here, Marcel Conche seems to position itself as the equal of Lao Tzu to interpret us his good word, and it is also seen on the cover.
