James Newton Howard backed this fantasy film with a large-scale work that can provide convincing especially on the quiet.
As a main theme here it is the beautiful melody of Snow White, a topic which can compete in its elegance with the great themes of the master well. It comes in different places in the score from time to time prior to and serves as a guide holding the composition together. Howard understands very well the innocence and purity of the catch "Snow White character", but also the queen gets in their scenes matching the soundtrack offers more than the usual "Evil character" Wabern.
The quiet passages are also by far the most beautiful places held the music, here comes the whole class of the composer and one sinks formally in music
Less impressed by me action passages which indeed come along very loud and punchy, but without much fantasy and are too much made to "mainstream Epic big" because Howard has subjected my opinion very spirit of the time and made the film thus very modern.
All in all though a good to very good work by James Newton Howard and safely Qualitatively a boon for the film
